This week I visited my favorite Thai restaurant in town, Tue Thai Food.
The lunch is $9 for 3 courses, and a Chicken Pad Thai is $12 for dinner. (+tax +tip)
Specials & Drinks are more expensive, but the thai food (some dish aren't!) is really good and compares to restaurants in Thailand.
By far my go-to place in Greenwich village.
Take aways available too for the plastic box kind of denature the taste.

1 Free $3 snack on AirTransat for Sun & USA destinations!
This week we uncover a little insider tip on some AirTransat trip since I flew with them a few days ago!
AirTransat is a Canadian travel company offering flights, rail, hotel booking, etc.
On their destinations from Canada to Caribbeans and the USA, check your "Online booking - Electronic document(s)". In the terms and conditions of "Inbound/Outbound Flight Information", you might see:
Air Transat offers passengers a complimentary snack and non-alcoholic beverage on board all flights serving our Sun destinations and the United States.
On my inbound flight, they denied me the snack as I mentioned it from memory. However, on the way back, I had my copy of e-ticket ready on my phone, and they couldn't refuse the free snack :)

Free boat ride between Financial district and Ikea
Did you know you can travel to Ikea Brooklyn for free?
There is a Taxi Boat from the Financial District straight to Ikea, and it's free during the weekend.
During week days, the way there is $5 (but free if you purchase for more than $10) and free back.
This is great for:
- A view of the Governors Island and Statue of Liberty (although we'll prefer the Staten Island ferry!)
- A view of Manhattan from Ikea + sunset?
- $1 Meatballs!
Bonus: bikes ride free if there is space
Schedules and more details.
